Old Crow Medicine Show

So, if you don't know about this band, The Old Crow Medicine Show, you should definitely look into them. These guys are absolutely fantastic. They are one of the best newer "old time" bands. They look like your typical rockabilly band, greased hair tattoos, cuffed blue jeans, and I believe their roots are in punk rock/rockabilly, but their music style kicks more ass than punk rock ever could. Ok so they got an upright bass player, acoustic guitar, fiddle, and dueling banjos. You may have heard their cover (well co-written, I believe) of Bob Dylan's "Wagon Wheel" on XPN or on college radio anywhere. This is by far their most popular song; off they're self titled album, "O.C.M.S." But this morning I was listening to their album, "Troubles Up and Down the Road" and if you get a chance you should check it out and listen to the song, “Little Sadie", it's an eerie fuckin' song about murder. Alot of their stuff as with alot of old time music bands are just remakes of old traditionals.
